The Eco Candleshop is a small, Toronto-based company with the mission to create natural products that promote personal health and the sustainability of the environment. We strive to produce minimal waste and shipping materials are often re-purposed and/or reusable. All of our candles are hand poured in small batches into reusable containers and materials are responsibly sourced.
Soy wax burns cleaner and longer than traditional paraffin wax candles. Did you know many candles are made with wicks that contain lead? When burned, these wicks release harmful chemicals into the air that we breath. Be sure to check labels when buying candles and if it does not specify that the wicks are made of natural materials, beware! We use flat braided, natural fibre wicks and untreated wooden wicks which do not release toxins or harmful chemicals when burned.
